The December Beanie Class – Saturdays, March 28th and April 11th

This class is 2-2 hour sessions. Saturday, March 28th 1pm – 3pm and Saturday, April 11th 1pm – 3pm .

Instructor: Janet

Skills required: You must have basic knitting knowledge.

Skills learned: Provisional Cast on, knitted hem, small circumference circular knitting, crown shaping. In the first class you will learn how to do a provisional cast on and get started on the ribbing. Between classes you will need to get your ribbing completed so you can do the hem in the second class.

The pattern is “The December Beanie” and you can purchase on Ravelry before the class.

The pattern is written for multiple gauges so can be knit in just about anything but I can certainly advise you on which yarns for the thickness you would like.

Materials: Yarn weight of your choice. Needles will depend on the thickness you are using.
