Ponchos, Ponchos, Ponchos-KAL, June 15th and July 6th, 11:00-2:00

June 15, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Instructor: Brigit

Ponchos are back and they are super fun to knit and wear.
Many have fairly simple construction are are easily accomplished by the adventurous beginner knitter and yet are quite the satisfying project for more advanced knitters as well. In this workshop

  • knitters can pick from a variety of patterns including Casapinka’s latest “pullover shawl”, Magical Thinking.
  • Knitters can also choose to do Boden, an easy stranded knitting project that you could knit in 3 or 5 colours.
  • If a traditional poncho is not for you, then Cranberry Gose might be the project for you as it is a sleeveless pullover with only a bit of neck shaping.
  • Whatever poncho you choose to knit, you will get lots of technical support to create a fun-tastic garment.
Depending on what pattern you choose to knit, you may want to bring some scrap yarn to practice prior to commencing with your project yarn. Bring needles and markers as well.
(There is some flexibility with pattern choice. If you have a different poncho you wish to knit, please consult with Brigit prior to class)

Cost:$60.00 Plus materials. The class cost includes 2-3 hour instruction sessions as well as help (by email) between sessions. Because of the different projects you will have to come in a pick materials prior to the class.
Suitable for advanced beginners and more advanced knitters who need a little support and encouragement.
